Sharon Anne Bellamy

December 5, 1945 - May 3, 2004

~Come with Me~ God saw she was getting tired and a cure was not to be, So He put His arms around her and whispered "Come with Me". With tearful eyes we watched her suffer and saw her fade away. Although we couldn't bear to lose her. We could not bid her stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands laid to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best. ________________________________________________ SHARON ANNE BELLAMY, entered into final rest on Monday, the 3rd of May 2004, following a long illness, at the young age of 58. Sharon was born to Evelyn and Alfred Miller on December 5, 1945 in the city of Port Arthur, Texas. She was a 1964 graduate of Spring Branch High School and attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas. She became an Estimator for various home builders in the Houston area in the mid-1980's. She thoroughly enjoyed her profession until she retired in 2002, due to her illness. Sharon was a smart, tough, hard-working lady with a spark and fire that seemed to never go out. She was a devoted mother, a loving grandmother, and trusting friend. She especially enjoyed reading, traveling and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Sharon was preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Miller; her younger sister, Connie Carr; and her beloved husband, Cullen "Chuck" Bellamy. She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving daughter, Margaret Patrick of Spring; her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Christine Pilkington of Smithville, TN; her father, Alfred Miller of Houston; her sister, Charlotte Doyle of Houston; her cherished granddaughters, Courtney Pilkington and Ashley Boeche; her beloved grandsons, Dylan Ballard, Andrew Piper and Calvin Piper; two nieces, Charlotte and Jessica Carr, three nephews, Jeremy Carr, Craig Doyle and Alan Doyle, their families and many more friends.

I lost my son 3-29-04 to a drowning. He was throwing something away for me and he wandered into our neighbor's backyard. They did not have a fence around the pool. Their yard was the last place I looked. Please see his entire story at www.derekslaw.com and also to see what I am doing about this tragedy.

I ask myself how and why he died. He was so damn healthy he leaves us with questions flying through our minds as we sat at his funeral. I couldn't believe my step father who was becoming my friend was gone. I stared at that coffin/casket whatever you call it and wonder if it was a dream and why I wasn't waking up...
