Widow Net - Michael Goshorn's resource for widows and widowers. SIte for Abuse The Young Widowed Group of Greater Boston, a support group for Young Widows and Widowers in the Greater Boston area, will meet the 4th Tuesdays of each month, (September-June) 7:00pm-8:30pm, at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Needham, MA beginning September 27th, 2005 The group is led by Dr. Paula Schneider LICSW, PhD, who knows first hand what it is like to lose a spouse at a young age, and the difficulties that arise from being widowed. She welcomes both recently widowed men and women to the group. Young
Widows or Widowers Widowed Persons
Service (WPS), a bereavement program for adults of all ages who have
recently lost a spouse or partner, is part of New York Service Program
for Older People, Inc. (SPOP) and is co-sponsored by AARP. Our trained,
widowed volunteers provide individual peer counseling and time-limited
bereavement support groups. We also provide information on bereavement,
as well as referrals to other programs in the New York area. There

It is where 350 Wish Foundations sends the children with life threatening illnesses and their families to grant them their wish. Its a fairytale like community that every child dreams of.
